My name is Pauline Hartwell and I have owned Old English Sheepdogs since 1974. I am a conformation Judge of Group 3 and Group 5 and also a full panelled Obedience, Tracking, Endurance Judge.

I started breeding in 1986 with my foundation bitch
Dual Ch. Penzance Blue Gytha AOC.

Our achievements include:

* Australia & N.Z. TOP KENNEL ( all Breeds 1997 National Dog Comp )

* We have bred 5 GRAND CHAMPIONS and 38 Champions.

* We also have 26 Obedience,3 Tracking, 1 Agility, 1 Endurance and 2 Herding Titles.

* AUSTRALIAN & N.Z. ALL BREEDS DOG OF THE YEAR 1990.

* AUSTRALIAN & N.Z. ALL BREEDS STUD DOG OF THE YEAR(1995-1996).

* At All Breeds Championship Shows, 18 different HARTWYN O.E.S. have won BEST IN SHOWS.

* In the past 12 years at O.E.S. Specialists Shows HARTWYN have won :

20 BEST IN SHOW
15 Runner Up Best in Show
74 Class in Show

 * BREED RECORD OF BEST IN SHOW AT 3 NATIONAL O.E.S. SHOWS

With an average of less than one litter per year, this is not just good luck.
